I was given a copy of this book for an honest review. The story is about Kim and Nick. Kim first meets Nick when she interviews him for an article. Straight away Nick starts to have feelings for her. Kim is struggling with her abusive past and pushes him away. When Kim gets up the courage to try to date Nick I was so happy. Nick constantly supports her with everything that is going on. They have so much to over come in the start of their relationship. A stalker! An evil mother! And britney! And now I'm left wondering about Kirsten! I love how Kim was surrounded with supportive people. Pavan has done such a good job in writing about this sensitive subject. I would love to read the next one! if your looking for a romance with good characters this is the book for you. I would recommend this book 100%

Kim's wanting to get her life back after getting ou of an abusive relationship, she's trying to make it work as an intern journalist in the Chicago Post and she sees her opportunity when she interviews Nicholas Webb, a hot CEO with a player's fame. He sees her and wants her, not just as another conquest but as THE ONE. Kim doesn't want a relationship and rejects him over and over but he doesn't give up. Could Kim give herself a chance to trust again? Could Nick let her into his life of deceit and ambition?
This was a very good story! There's a cliffanger so I¿m looking forward to the next book...

I got this book for an honest review and I found it extremely captivating!

Kim is a beautiful, young, intelligent woman who is trying to get back on her feet after something really horrible happened to her.

Then she meets the infamous Nick Webb, and everything changes, in a crazy rapid pace that she has problems keeping up with.

He helps her by setting her free of her demons and she gives him her heart in return.

But life is not as easy as it seems, and they are faced with a bunch of crazy events that threatens what they have achieved.

The connection between the characters is beautiful and the way they start to get to know and love one another is amazing.

The cliffhanger is wow, I'm thinking the worst ! Can't wait to read the next one!

This romance was very good, but be prepared for a lot of difficult to process feelings. The heroine is in a bad place because of a past boyfriend who harmed her, and who is stalking her. In the long run, the stalker gets arrested and put in jail, but by the time the book ends, he is back and bothering her again with his hope to get back together. What he did to her makes it hard for the heroine to even hug her family and friends, it was that bad. So, when she meets a great guy, it is really hard to move forward. He really is a great guy, though, and I loved the hero and the way the romance progressed. He was very strong and supportive. He had strong feelings for her, but he understood how emotionally scarred she was, and was totally in to being the best possible man for her.
Unfortunately, in addition to the heroine's ex, there are others trying to break them up, others using mean methods to interfere with the relationship. They surround themselves with good friends to help. I really liked the secondary characters in the book, they were filled out well.
I loved how the author was able to elicit my feelings for the characters and make them so real.

Having read Moving On I found that this was a good book with alot of interest that will hold the readers attention.

This is a story about just that...Moving on after having a bad past that you no longer want to remember. For Kim Turner that is exactly what she must do after an abusive relationship only to run into Nicholas Webb.

For Kim Nick could be the perfect man but Nick is dealing with his own enemies and deamons that his past carries. The need for both Kim and Nick to move forward is so great.

While Nick tries to help Kim cope with her past and face what has happened the past no is coming back....that in the form of her ex who has been released from incarceration and back to get Kim.

For Pavan Kaur's debut book it is a good book. There is a little of everything here for he reader. Romance, Mystery, Suspense, and a little Stalking here all rolled into one book.

And just to let you know there is a cliffhanger here so be prepaired but don't let it stop you from reading it.

I simply loved this book. The author created very realistic characters that had dimension and depth. The storyline was very good: romance with mystery sprinkled in to keep things interesting. I'm assuming that this is the first book in a series from the way it ended, and I am definitely looking forward to reading the next installment.

Review:

~Everyone has a past ~

If you are looking for a romance novel, spiked with a bit of mystery - then "Moving on"is the book for you.
While this book wasn't a deep read, it made for an interesting story to sit on the patio, in the sun with.
"Moving On" is the debut novel, from British author, Pavan Kaur; its contents detail the life of Kimberly Turner, as she struggles to move on from a violent relationship. However, it isn't easy for Kim, when she meets the perfect man [Nick] - only to be met with a stalker. In addition, Kim's abusive ex is released from incarceration, and Nick has secrets.

-The Plot:
I believe "Moving On" had a unique plot, one that will appeal to a multitude of readers. While it is mainly a romance novel, I loved that it was spiced with a hint of suspense/mystery. The mystery was one of the factors that kept me turning pages - I needed to find out what was going to happen. To back these statements up - I can assure you I was up late at night reading this novel.

- The Characters:
Kaur has done a great job creating characters that the reader will connect to, and want to root for. On the flipside, she has also incorporated some excellent antagonists - Nick's Mom, and his ex girlfriend. Both the protagonists, and the antagonists made you feel something for them - whether it be a good feeling, or a feeling of repulsion.
On another note - this work is a piece of fiction, however, I like that Kim is struggling with a problem that is very real. A problem, that unfortunately, is too common amongst women. I am certain that "Moving On" could be used to bring up a conversation on domestic violence, and PTSD.

- The Nitpicks:
While this book was largely a success, I did note several spots that could have used editing. However, for the most part, that factor did not spoil my enjoyment of the book. On occasion though, an editing error did cause a short pause in my reading. That being said, if "Moving On" had professional editing, I think it would do very well among the romance / romantic mystery readers.

The Bottom Line: Overall, I am not a huge romance reader, so the fact that I enjoyed this book means Pavan Kaur is a good writer. I think with a little editing, this book would be a five.

I should note, after reading "Moving On", I purchased a copy on Kobo - I like to support the Books I have really enjoyed.

Awesome debut novel.
I was drawn into the story from the start. Kim had a past that we were aware of but not what happened to her. In a scene that resembles 50 shades (but totally different) she meets Nick who also has a past.

As the story continues we find out more about both Kim and Nicks past and get drawn into their lives.

If you hate cliffhangers then I would stay to stay away as the ending left me wanting more.

I'm looking forward to the next book.in the series.

This novel was an amazing debut. The story is of a women who courageously survived an abusive relationship. She starts moving on with her life and meets an amazing new guy. The relationship is fraught with problems at first but just when they seem to be working it through the abuser is let of prison and the story eludes to a problem with amazing new guys ex.

The book ends on a cliffhanger I literally said "that is it?" when it ended. Highly anticipating the next novel in this series.

If you are looking for a light read, then this debut novel from Pavan Kaur would be perfect for you.

This book has enough drama and humor to keep you entertained, not to mention the undeniable attraction between Nick and Kim which will make you say 'awe' for more than a couple of times.

What I like best about this book is how it gives you hope. Hope that despite the bad things that happen to you now, there would be something good awaiting you. You just have to patiently wait for it and when it comes, learn to embrace it. Fear is okay, but you have to take that leap to get your happiness. Kim did take that leap of courage.

Congratulations to Pavan for publishing this book and thank you for sharing us your craft. I am looking forward for more title from you!

A gripping story from a new author.
Kim had a past that haunted her everyday and most nights. Nick wanted to help her, and be there for her.
The chemistry between the two main characters was heartwarming and had me wanting them to find happiness together. The story had me believing that was possible.
I'm looking forward to reading the next instalment to find out if they have a happy life together, and exactly what James is up to!
