Been missing

So I know that I have been missing, and I don't have a good reason for it so I am not going to lie and make one up.
So what have I been doing?

I had a wedding at the weekend and that took a lot out of me, that all day Monday I sat and did nothing, I know that was very lazy of me, but I need that day, having two kids to look after at a wedding can take it out of you.

The rest of the week I have been writing my new book, which I am happy to say, that the fist draft is very close to being finished (yay) soon as that it put away for a few days I am going to start Moving Forward which I am very excited about writing I have so much going on in my head about what I want to write and how I want Kim and Nick's story to play out, can not wait for you all to read it.

I will be leaving my book for a few days, then pull it back out and start the editing. This story will be a stand alone, so there will be no cliffhangers :) I have enjoyed writing this story it is different from the Moving Series, but I think that I needed to write something different just to get my head away from Moving On, so that I would be ready to write Moving Forward, as I want Moving Forward to be more out there and push myself to write more into Kim's problems she will be facing with him and I want more of her past to come out, and I think I needed to get my mind away from it a little so that I could think about it more.

I am very happy that this is what I have done, as I have come up with some great ideas and can't wait to start writing them.

Moving On Snipper

I have a wedding this weekend, so I thought that I would share another snipper from Moving On with you all, and next week do What's on page? for you.
I hope you enjoy this.

"Kim, you have a visitor." Zoe pops her head into my room.
Walking towards the living room, I realize who it is straight away. Hes wearing one of his usual expensive suits. However, this is deep navy and I can tell that its been tai-
I dont return it, how can I? I most probably look like Ive just risen from my grave.
If I want something, I get it." He smirks.
I remember that, that's something he lives by and I don't give a shit about it.
"That doesn't answer my question, Mr Webb." I say impatiently, crossing my arms across my chest. I raise

I remember that, that's something he lives by and I don't give a shit about it.
"That doesn't answer my question, Mr Webb." I say impatiently, crossing my arms across my chest. I raise
"From your office. He admits, finally, and my eyebrows snap together, must be Rob, no doubt about it. "What do you want?" I ask as if hes boring me. I start tapping my bare foot on the floor and purse my lips. He eyes me carefully, but I dont budge.
"I have a charity event this evening.

"I have a charity event this evening. He finally begins to explain. I want you to be my date.
"I have to go shopping, sorry." I turn to walk away.
"You can join us for lunch.Zoe says as she pops her head out of the kitchen.
Maybe this is a blessing in disguise, though. If I went on just one date with Nick, then hed leave me alone.

lored to fit his broad back. I watch as he lifts his hand and runs it through his silky hair as he peers out the win- dow.
Breaking out of my thoughts, I wonder what hes doing in my freaking flat. And how did he freaking know my address?
I give a loud cough to let him know I am in the room.
"Miss Turner. He says as he spins around and eyes me with a smile.
"How do you know where I live?" I immediately ask, sounding cranky.
my eyebrow at him. Surely no ones that up themselves?
What kind of game is he playing?
Uh, usually you have to ask.I prompt him. But it doesnt matter anyway, because I'm going to the event as a reporter.I pause briefly. Zoes my date."
His lips then purse together, clearly trying not to smile. "How about lunch then?"
Ugh, he just wont give up!
I stop in my tracks and look at her with wide eyes.
Thats a wonderful invitation.I spin back around to face him, planting a fake smile on my face. But he turns away from me and is now handing Zoe his card. Give me a call when youre ready.

"We will. She smiles and takes the card from him.
Before leaving, he shoots one last glance at me and again, tries not to laugh. How could he not get the hint? I cant date anyone; last night was clearly proof of that.
"What the hell?" I ask Zoe when she closes the door.
"The poor guy is trying so hard. She defends herself, avoiding eye contact with me. I felt bad! He had pup- py dog eyes!"
"He didn't have puppy dog eyes and he just basically stalked me in our flat! Don't you find that creepy? Or scary?"
"You know what it is? It's called effort.Zoe says, rolling her eyes. And a hot guy putting that much effort in for you is sweet and romantic."
Now I roll my eyes though my heart skips a beat from her words, giving me a glimmer of hope that Nick ac- tually wants to be nice to me, but I swallow it down. I cant think that.
"I'll never win an argument with you, saying stuff like that.I shake my head at her.
"Because you're so negative.Zoe says, bringing me out of my thoughts. "Whatever.I sigh as we leave and head to the stores.

Wednesday's Author

So I didn't get anyone for today's author :(
So I thought I would write whats been going on as I missed Mondays post. I wasn't able to write on Monday because my laptop was broke and I was on my phone to talk on Facebook and Twitter, but it is all fixed now yay.

At the weekend I did nothing we went shopping and brought stuff that I really didn't need lol but you have to buy something when you go shopping otherwise you think I went out for the sake of it.
Other than that I was writing the stand alone story which I am thinking the title will be Fate but not 100% sure just yet I will keep you all updated on that, and with a date when it will be out.

As for the Moving Series, I have been coming up with some amazing ideas for Moving Forward with how and where I want the story to go, really looking forward to publishing it so you can all read it.
I am hoping for a September/October realise and again I will keep you updated on that too :)

So that is what is happening writing wise, this weekend I have a wedding, I will try to take some pictures for my blog post on Monday for you all.

Sorry this post is short but I thought I would give a small update on what is happening.
For Fridays post I was thinking about doing a What's On Page? post again.

So please comment and let me know which page you want me to post about.

What's on Page 30?

I few days ago I was reading a blogpost and I loved the idea, they would choose a random page on a book they were reading or of there on book and post it on their blog, and I thought I have to do that, it's brillant.
So I asked my husband to choose a random number for me and he gave me 30, on my kindle I went to page 30  on my book Moving On, and this is what I got.
As you can't really read it from the picture I have added the page under the photo :)

see you in ten, kisses." I end the call and straighten from where I am leaning.

Rob hands me my USB and says good bye.
We get into our separate cars, and I drive home.
I go straight to shower and then primp myself for an hour, making sure that I seem to look as if I am so hap-

py to have this night out. I applied a smoky effect on my eyes and velvet red lipstick on my lips. I wear a black skin-tight dress that hung teasingly to my mid thigh. It has a chic and elegant, teasing-but-not-quite style.
I miss dressing up like this. It's been so long when I last wore something this beautiful.
I ignore the pinch it brings to my chest, and close the door behind me, turning the knob to check if I locked it right. I look down to my feet when I step onto something and see that it's a piece of paper. Frowning, I crouch down and pick up the paper which turns out to be a picture.
Did I drop something when I got in the house?
I turn it over and take a step back as if someone pushed me backwards. My lips part as the breath comes out with a rush from my lungs. It's a picture of me coming out of Mr Webb's building. It's as if paparazzi have tak- en the shot, it's candid

Here is the summary from Amazon.com:
Mark My Words…
Derek Warren is smooth, charming, and a master manipulator.

I swear…
If so, how is the former businessman committing murder from a maximum-security prison cell?
And what, if anything, does he have planned next?

Weekend Round Up

I hope you all had a great weekend, let me know what you got up :)

So Saturday was our 11 year anniversary, can't believe that has gone way to fast, but I am not complaining I have loved every single day.
We stopped doing gift after the 5 year mark, not sure why we did. I think it was because we were saving for a house, but I can't remember at all. We normally go big on gifts for our birthdays and Christmas (who doesn't love being spoiled at Christmas?)
Well this year my loving husband surprised me and got me something I had been asking for, and it proves that talking about something over and over again it reaches mens ears lol.
He got me Chanel, now what girl doesn't like some Chanel :)

The smell of this amazing, and it lasts forever. Go out and smell how good this is.
I made a nice dinner at home for both of us and the kids (of course), so Saturday was a chill day for the family.

Sunday was yet another chill day for us, we took the kids to the park and to feed the ducks, my little one likes to chase them back into the water lol.
Then we stayed home, I was busy planning my sister's baby shower, which will be in July. She is due in August and I can not wait so excited.
I am in two minds about the baby shower I want to, I have seen two so far.

Which one do you guys like?

So this weekend wasn't that entertaining a relaxing weekend.

Don't for get you can buy Moving On now. xx

Talk to all soon

Friday News

Hello Everyone, how has your week been?

Tomorrow it will be one week since Moving On has come out (jumping with joy), and I have really enjoyed this week. I have sold a small amount of books not loads, a small amount but Moving On is selling and that is making me so happy and I can't wait to sell more and get feedback from everyone.

I was thinking about making a playlist for Moving On, there are a odd song here and there in the book but I think I want to add them into the playlist with other songs I think will work nicely with the story so it might take me longer to get one together.
But there is one song in the book that is very important to Kim.

I do have the second book Moving Forward planned in my head, so I know how the story will plan out and that is very exciting. Moving Forward is on hold for a while though.

In the meantime I am working on a  new story which I have started writing and will be out before Moving Forward. The new story still has no title :( I have written some of it and nothing is coming to me for a title just yet, but soon as I have a title I will let you all know.
If you would like to be a Wednesday's Author please comment with your email address and I can get in touch with you.

Blurb:
-Take every notion, feeling, experience and expectation that you have on poetry and throw it up in the air, just take everything you’ve ever known about it and toss it aside. Not because the boundaries of what makes it so are being broken and not because simple fundamentals and poetic structures are being altered, no that’s not it at all. Simply take a deep breath, relax and remember that nothing is off limits, nothing is too right or too wrong or completely outside the box(pun totally intended). So untie that bow, put your hand on the corner and open..open the book and take in that fresh page aroma and all the splendid  “flavors” that is poetry.

I survived the first day

Yesterday was day one of Moving On being out there for everyone to read and I survived, I was so nervous the whole day that my husband took me to the cinema to get my mind away from it for a while.
We went to watch The Avengers which was an amazing file. I love the Marvel movies and Thor well you can't go wring :)

I was happy will my first day being out there in the world of publishing, promoting my story, talking to new authors.
I know that I am not going to sell a thousand copies in one day, one months I know this is a slow progress but I will work hard to get Moving On out there so readers, will fall in love with Kim and Nick, just as much as me.

On this journey I have made some great friends and can't wait to meet more writers out there too, which for me I love meeting new people who enjoy writing as much as I do.

So come over say hi, leave you link in the comment, if you have any advice write a comment would love to here what you all think.

Moving On is OUT!

So the day has come, my first book Moving On is realised. This might be one of the scariest and nervous days in  my life, sharing a book that you had locked away for so long time.
Now it out there for the world to read, and its scary what do they think about it, is it as good as I think, is it really bad and I was thinking it was good, so many things go through your head.
But I have said to myself that self publishing Moving On is amazing and that I am very proud to have a book that I think it amazing out there and get readers to love Kim and Nick just as much as I did.

I think the last time I was this nervous was when I was pregnant with my oldest, and as a new mum you think to yourself, will everything be okay, will the baby love me, will I drop them you have a thousand things going though your head, and today I have questions again.

My kids love me, and I didn't drop them either so I think that everything turned out great with my two boys so Moving On will turn out great too, I believe that.

I really can not wait for you all to read Moving On and let me know what you all think.

Meet Nicholas Webb

All charters that we read, we all get a picture in out head of what they look like, and soon as I started writing, Nicholas Webb the person came in my head straight away.
This is the person I thought about when writing Nicholas.

Nicholas Webb also known as Nick is a 29 year old business man. He is the oldest son of Charlie and Elena Webb, who also have 2 other children Patrick and Thea. Nick Webb was born April 15th 1986 in Chicago, where he still lives today.
Nick Webb is the CEO of Webb Enterprise, a company that involves owning restaurants, small business, nightclubs and much more. He had taken over the company once his grandfather had passed away.

In his spare time, when he has some Nick likes to go swimming and boxing, he likes to look after himself. His best friend and drivers Brain have known each other since they were kids.

Nicholas Webb is 5 foot 11 inches, brown hair and beautiful hazel eyes, he comes across as an arrogant person but to be at the top a business you have to be. Being a business man Nick wears a three piece suit, fitting him nicely at all time.

Nicholas Webb has always forward the words that his grandfather told him, 'if you want something go get' and he lives by them words.

This is a small introduction into Nicholas Webb, who can see and judge for yourself in Moving On and let me know what you all think about him.

Do you think he reminds you of anyone?
What do you like about Nicholas?
